ReplyDeletegini
what a lucky day for you :)
ReplyDeleteMooi mooi allemaal, Anneloes x x x
pretty presents!!
ReplyDeleteOh, you don't put the candles into water... that way they won't last long!
ReplyDeleteThese are "St. Peter's Lichte", you put them in a small bowl with oil.
The wax on the stub will melt when it burns, and so it'll soak up oil that will allow it to burn on.
It's similar to an eternal light... it's a Catholic/Russian orthodox thing.
P.S. Needless to say, you use one stub at a time, and the vessel should be small, with a small opening. A votive glass would be good.
