as you know we are very fond of honeybears. for a while now we have been searching for this incredible exemplar. it seems impossible to find him here so that is why we decided to call upon you all to help us.

Oh that takes me back to the childhood and my grandmother´s "cold room" where all the food was stored. There was one of these Mr Bears too, I am sure he still is there on the rose-patterned shelves, but very empty (:

We have similars, different kinds, smallers and bigger ones in Hungary, and once I noticed at the old market house in Helsinki port, and I asked, they were also from Hungary.

I haven't seen this bear, but there are several others here in New York. Right now I have one with a white flat top and he's got his arms up, looking like he's relaxing. I can send you a photo if you like...

the honey bear reminds me of my childhood, too. it´s so strange!!! i know the bear from hungery, too. when i was a child, my parents always must buy one, when we were in budapest for holidays. loved them. strange feeling, to see the bear now. but thanks for the reminder!:)) (and i´m lucky, too hear, that it´s possible to buy one in berlin!):):):D
