for sale

we have some socks left over from the sales in atelier solarshop.  most of them quite small sizes, but a few ones are bigger.  they are handmade of wool, except for nr 11, it's a mix of acryllic and wool. if you click on the photos you can have a closer look.  if you're interested write an email to miekeverbijlen@hotmail.com.  the socks are 12 euros + shipping (price depends on where you live) and the mittens are 15 euros.  first ones who write have first choice, ofcourse...

koala

today, here in belgium, a baby koala from 7 months peeped out of it's mother's pouch.  seen on zooborns, a very nice website that always puts a smile on our face! few more photos here. (+ a koala piece of fabric, from k for c, and koala cookies!)

winter days

it hasn't been very cold the last few weeks but it was raining way too much and it seems like everyone has a cold.  trying to eat lots of vegetables and also made a kind of syrup with ginger, lemon and honey... spend a lot of evenings inside, watching carnivale.  brilliant series! so sad it's over now...

the past few days i've spent a lot of time at home, with a cold. reading apartamento's lastest issue. it's a very good one.  loved reading the article on christophe lemaire and very much love the photos of ola rindal.

christmas is a-comin'

we don't own much xmas decoration, but the tree is an old time favourite that we used to sell in our shop. and that little snow man was a present from sophie today, so so nice. wish we had more of these urpo & turpo cards to send to all of our friends, but this way everyone gets to see it anyway...
