a free day today. it's so cold, but sunny. sleeping long, drinking tea and a new book.

today we received 2 packages: one from tas-ka, and the other one was filled with paper balloons in different colours and shapes! look at these penguins, we love them!

the first day

today was the first day we were open. last night we had to work really late to get it finished, but we are happy with the result. still not all the products arrived, and we will have to make some changes, but for now it looks good!
not super many people came by, but those who came really loved it and bought a lot ;)!

the opening

last night we had the opening party for our shop. there were no products yet in the store, but we hang posters and a book including things we will sell from next wednesday.
many people came by, we had a nice time!

a heart cookie

we made lots of gingerbread for the opening party. all animals (you will see) , but in the end we wanted to have it quick, so charlotte made this big heart.

we are busy preparing the opening for friday, so we haven't been posting much the last days. but here's a nice book, with drawings by abner graboff.

the first packages arrived!! it's so exciting, but we have to be patient. the shop is still not clean enough to open all the boxes!
