winter days

it hasn't been very cold the last few weeks but it was raining way too much and it seems like everyone has a cold.  trying to eat lots of vegetables and also made a kind of syrup with ginger, lemon and honey... spend a lot of evenings inside, watching carnivale.  brilliant series! so sad it's over now...

we really LOVE the photos anne dokter made of the house from mina perhonen, and the house is very nice too, ofcourse.

nr 10

the past few days i've spent a lot of time at home, with a cold. reading apartamento's lastest issue. it's a very good one.  loved reading the article on christophe lemaire and very much love the photos of ola rindal.

christmas is a-comin'

we don't own much xmas decoration, but the tree is an old time favourite that we used to sell in our shop. and that little snow man was a present from sophie today, so so nice. wish we had more of these urpo & turpo cards to send to all of our friends, but this way everyone gets to see it anyway...

 had it for some years, but sold it now in the giftshop from atelier solarshop... there are still lots of nice other things to buy there, 1 more week!

in london

we were very lucky to stay in a very nice apartment from very sweet people in london.  and they had the nicest son with a great mickey :)

missing d.

any excuse to go to london is a good one.  nothing nicer than hanging out with d. and look what a lovely new place he has...

in paris

 saw some nice 'graffiti' in the streets.

we are going to paris and london for a few days, to see our friend, and to see some concerts :)

there aren't many things that make me so happy as a visit from my friend with her 2 dogs.  it's so nice to have them here running around...

2 great things about december

1. hanna konola's advent calendar is beautiful again, a drawing every day untill christmas.
2. atelier solarshop will be a giftshop for the whole month. otark will take care of nice food and we have some things there as well, like mittens and socks,  some photos later! check all info here.
