veronik came back from sweden yesterday evening, so today we had a nice coffee back in antwerp! on the last picture is veroniks present for mieke, a wonderful pack of musli!

charlotte koopman

a great artist to watch is our friend charlotte koopman. she makes the most amazing drawings, with funny characters. you can see more of her work on this website. she's working on a book about tomatoes and we can't wait untill it's finished. we have some really nice children's books, but the first one she will publish is going to be our favorite- that's for sure!
charlotte also made our logo!

this is definitly one of our favorite books, sparkle and spin. paul rand did the illustrations, and his wife ann rand wrote the story. it's very hard to make a selection, all pages are nice!!

andrea ayala closa is a very nice fashiondesigner from barcelona. we met her when she studied in the academy in antwerp. the picture up was taken from her beautiful website. the 3 last photos are made by mieke with drawings from charlotte koopman.

when veronik was born, a jewish friend of the family planted 5 trees in israel for her!
