a green atelier

a very small preview of photos i did yesterday. i visited a nice artist in his studio and it was very very beautiful! (more some other time!)

some pinks

it became summer all of the sudden in antwerp. very warm, and just this moment some thunder showed up. but the sun was shining so strong already that in 2 days you can see the mickey shape in the pink paper! those pink mushrooms are nice candy and those flowers have a pretty color, hope they will stay a bit with this heat. + browsing a book by edgard tytgat, he's sooo good! more on that later!

in the kitchen

new panda fruit sticker! + flowers on the table, a pekka painting by miljan (!!!) and a forgotten christmas pudding in the drawer.

moomin

got these moomin glasses from sophie, they are so nice!! the book is in my shelf since a long time, i like the german title, and the drawing is not an original tove jansson, but it's still really beautiful!

andrea and whiskey

these days the light is getting nicer (only just now and than though) so making new photos. visited andrea and her cat whiskey in her beautiful home. she has so many plants! will show you more soon, i hope, on the website.

wild cheburashka

this cheburashka drawing was a favourite from last week. it's made by ksenia, and it's funny to see how cheburashka is getting more wild in the end :).

from the jewelry box

this box with the cats and the ballerina i have since i was a child. still using it, and it's still full of things that might be more for kids than for adults.
the left jewelry box is a drawing by dick bruna from the zwarte beertjes-series.

really love the bird photos by jean luc mylayne. was hard to pick some, but just google around and you'll find a lot more. (learned about him while reading ksenia galiaeva's great essay! read it too!)

from yesterday

the birthday table at the otark breakfast was full of drawings of mickey, cheburashka and pekka! thank you everyone who made one! + thanks for the wishes. don't forget to look at this greatest flyer ever! (more another time)

he has a nice name. and he makes nice drawings, the finnish jaakko pallasvuo. this book is called 'how you should make cement for mending stones' and you can buy it from napa.
