autumn at home

this morning i visited the pirosmani exhibition in dordrecht, will show you some images later.  on the way home i bought some flowers on the market and tonight i will make a pumpkin soup.  happy weekend all!

spent way too much time this morning looking at the grateful dead fanmail after i've seen some pretty enveloppes on aapc.  so nice and sweet!!

 a book about johann hauser, who is another great outsider artist who used to live in the gugging house. posted about him long time ago and very happy to own this book now.

(now i have the new blogger, and probably everyone is used to it already, but it's making me super nervous.  sigh)

today was very much like autumn. it's getting cold again! stayed in almost all day, cleaning, organising and taking care of the plants.  made an update of the pilea family picture.  crazy how big they became! and still baby's are growing all the time! the avocado plants look nice and happy as well, they are almost a year now.  squirrelcandy from the russian shop.  and now a movie.

fix und foxi, a small magazine found in a second hand comic store in vienna. like the colors and the squirrel. / thrift store find from yesterday / flowers / a memory game in a nice box, from charlotte.

there are not so many drawings to be found on the internet from günther, our favourite artist in the gugging house in vienna. the catalogue said he is slow as a snail, that's maybe why :)
the last 3 photos i made over there. so crazy about them!

a wedding weekend

some dear friends got married yesterday, and tonight is the party. the leaf i found a few days ago in the street, autumn is on it's way but luckily this weekend is still like summer.
can't stop listening to this. (and so on)

beans

beans for dinner and jelly beans (picked by color ofcourse, by a friend) for dessert. and a bean-pin charlotte made! it looks a bit wrinkled cause i washed it by accident :s

jockum in antwerp

there is an amazing exhibition here in antwerp. small, but very nice. by our all time favourite jockum nordström. still running till the 6th of october, go if you can! (and if you can't, you can see all the photos here)

der mensch

love this little book by leo navratil. for this book he asked psychiatric patients to draw the figure of a human being. it became a nice collection with 51 very different drawings.

a bonsai tree

making lots of photos these days.
+ going to do all i can to save this poor little bonsai. it didn't have a nice life so far, hope it will look better by the time L. comes back, she will be a good owner for sure.
