we had such a nice day together! ♥ walking and resting all day long. he followed me everywhere, so sweet!

some green and yellow

it's nice when food looks like decoration. it's nice when a house has some big plants. it's nice when a candy bar has a good looking packaging. it's nice when a home has plenty of funny details. it's nice to drink tea when it's cold.

yesterday we visited a very very good exhibition in cologne: david hockney: a bigger picture.  BEAUTIFUL!!
these days are still very cold. scarfs and hats all of the time.
2nd image (a work by kelly chorpening) was taken at an exhibition here, they have a new one that just opened last weekend. on our to-see-list.  the box has a secret message, and the doll is for alessandra.

a trip

we made a small trip today to the countryside just across the border.  beautiful white landscapes! we even saw the sea! it was very cold though, and we spent a lot of time in the car keeping the dogs warm, but it was really very nice.  (2nd photo by W.)

from this week

only saw 1 snowman this week, which was quite a dissapointment.  hope it will snow more next week to meet some others :)  this one was a special one though, as it was made for our new little friend, J.
have a whole list of new places to visit in the next weeks, more on that soon. the one from this week was very beautiful. so jealous of that pink sofa! and last night we made some paper snowflakes.

a friend, and probably the funniest girl in town, helene claes, has an exhibition in brussels running till the 10th of february.  we went to see it yesterday and higly recommend it! more info here.
